OptiPin vs Regimen

Two of the most capable peptide, TRT, and GLP-1 trackers — compared honestly. We make OptiPin, so we've been clear about where Regimen genuinely wins.

The verdict

Choose OptiPin if you want privacy-first, on-device tracking with bloodwork-calibrated level forecasting and no account.

Choose Regimen if you need Android, cloud sync across devices, progress photos, or its wearable/symptom correlation engine.

Where OptiPin wins

AI insight summaries. OptiInsight, OptiPin's AI engine, generates plain-language insights that connect your dosing, Apple Health data, logged symptoms and mood, and bloodwork. Regimen offers correlation analytics (Signals) but not AI-generated insight summaries.

Calibrated hormone modeling. OptiPin's testosterone and estradiol forecasting uses dedicated, ester-specific PK models that recalibrate to your bloodwork and show estimates against reference ranges — deeper than Regimen's general-library modeling.

Titration with dose adjustments. OptiPin builds titration schedules with automatic stepped dose changes; Regimen's cycle support is on/off without dose stepping.

Privacy, sites, and inventory. No account, data on-device; 40+ mapped injection sites for granular rotation; vial/pen inventory with low-stock alerts and one-tap blend expansion (GLOW, KLOW, Wolverine and more).

Where Regimen wins

Android and cloud sync. Regimen runs on both platforms and syncs across devices — OptiPin is iOS-only and on-device. If you're on Android or switch devices often, that's decisive.

Content and web tools. Regimen publishes a large library of free web calculators and articles. OptiPin's free half-life visualizer, free testosterone calculator, and other calculators are catching up, but Regimen's catalog is broader today.

(Both apps offer progress photos and dose–symptom correlation, so those aren't a deciding factor.)

Who should choose which

If you want the deepest capability — AI insights, bloodwork-calibrated hormone modeling, dose-adjusting titration — and on-device privacy, and you're on iPhone, OptiPin is the stronger fit. If you need Android, cross-device cloud sync, or Regimen's content library, Regimen is the better choice. Both have a free tier, so you can try each.
