The angle, if you need one
Hormone-protocol data is about as sensitive as personal data gets: testosterone levels, peptide use, GLP-1 medications, body composition, mood. The default in this category is an account-based app that syncs all of it to someone else's cloud. OptiPin's bet is that a meaningful number of people would rather give up cross-device sync than hand that over, and the app is architected around that trade rather than bolting privacy on afterwards.
The second thing that separates it is the modeling. Most trackers in this space are dose logs. OptiPin runs ester-specific pharmacokinetic models that recalibrate against the user's actual bloodwork, so the forecast between draws is tuned to that person rather than to a textbook curve. That is also what the free web calculators on this site expose publicly.
The honest limitations, so you do not have to ask: iOS only, no Android on the roadmap today, and no cross-device sync - which is a direct consequence of the on-device model, not an oversight. Naming and style
OptiPin is one word, capital O and capital P, no space and no hyphen. The company is Vitaloom LTD. The app is correctly described as a "TRT, peptide and GLP-1 tracker" or an "injection tracker" - it is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and should not be described as diagnostic.
What OptiPin is not
Worth stating plainly, because it is the most common misreading: OptiPin does not prescribe, source, or sell any compound, and it has no affiliation with any pharmacy, compounding pharmacy, or peptide vendor. It is a logging and calculation tool for protocols people are already on, and the site's guides are educational reference grounded in primary sources. Dosing decisions belong with a licensed clinician.
